Renovation & Maintenance : 2008 - 2009

picture of Memoraial Church AnglicanDuring the period, the following maintenance and renovation projects were taken up:

The church has been ably maintained by both congregations since 2008. From the inception of the Anglican Communion, the major work done was the boundary wall around the property. It is now a tall 5 or 6 feet wall surrounding the entire property with the gate on the Inner circle side. At that time a Sentry Box was also built for the security men on duty 24 hours daily.

Water Harvesting was also introduced in 2008. For this channels were fixed around the entire roof to allow the overflow to lead down pipes to underground sumps. There filteration is carried out and then the water flow onto other sumps. From there it can be pumped to overhead tanks for further use. This, though an expensive undertaking, will and has helped keep expenses down in the way of buying water so often.

That same year the church was painted inside and out.
